Experience:

  • Having good knowledge and understanding on DRR and CCA Laws and Policies and impart training.
  • Working experience with DDMA, impart training on DRRC and CCA Laws & Policies in district Badin will be worth.
  • Experience of training local rural communities
  • Fluent in Sindhi

 

Description:

  1. Develop Training Agenda in consultation with HANDS team and share with HANDS/Oxfam for approval.
  2. Impart 2 Training (Minimum 2 Days) for 50 participants. (25 participants including men and women in each training)
  3. Compile Training Report and share with HANDS/Oxfam (Report must be comprehensive on pre and post knowledge, proceedings, learning, key feedback of participants and recommendation etc.)

 

Major Deliverable:

 

  1. Impart Training and share compile report.

Consultant for Mock Drill Activity

Position:                       Consultant

  • Experience of mock drill with community and government stakeholders.
  • Experience in working in proposed theme of Organizing Mock Drill on DRR with DDMA and Community

Description:

  1. Meeting with HANDS team to review and finalize scope of Mock Drill particularly on flood disaster and DRR Kit specification. The consultant will make sure that the Concept note developed by HANDS for Mock Drill is fully utilized.
  2. Finalizing the location for Mock Drill with HANDS team
  3. Carryout mock drill for 02 days with below schedule;
    • 1st day will be reserved for presentation and Mock drill and demo on DRR Kit for District Administration, DDMA, District Resilience Academy, PDMA and District DRR Forum Representative (25 participants)
    • 2nd day will be Mock drill activities in 03 project interventions UCs. I.e. Abdullah Shah, Shaheed Rani and Nindo. 01 activity in each UC (30-40 participants in each activity)
  4. Conduct meeting with community including women/PWDs, UCDMCs, District DRR forum and Resilience Academy for indigenous knowledge on DRR to finalize Mock Drill Agenda.
  5. Share mock drill agenda with HANDS for approval.
  6. Impart mock drill activities as per approved agenda.
  7. Compile activity report with all details of community meeting/indigenous knowledge, public department officials, activity proceeding, feedback of participants, impact of mock drill and recommendations.

 

Major Deliverable:

 

  1. Impart Mock Drill and demonstration on DRR Kit for government stakeholders and community.

Submission of comprehensive report with observation and recommendation within 03 days after conducting mock drill activities.

Description:

  • Meetings with existing Community, Community based Organizations and Youth Groups for planning and implementation of awareness raising campaign in targeted area/locations.
  • Ensure Oath Repetition before every community meeting.
  • Conducting review meetings with partner communities to measure the achievements and prepare strategies.
  • Identify the risk to the project interventions at field level and prepare the mitigations plans with consent of partner communities and support of Project Coordinator.
  • Deliver Awareness raising Sessions on protection & safety at targeted project areas/locations.
  • Conduct Meetings/Sessions with Masjid Paish Imams across the project intervention
  • Assist Project Coordinator in preparing monthly and plans
  • Facilitate linkages between line departments and partner communities
  • Support the Media and Communication Officer in gathering information material and publication of Newsletter, IEC material and Radio Programs.
  • Preparation of Periodic Reports
  • Preparation of Monthly and Weekly Implementation Plan.
