Description:

Visionary Task

  • Developing the IT vision of the district Malir and translating it into actionable goals
  • Coordinating IT activities to ensure the availability of network services and data
  • Identifying future challenges in the IT landscape and developing mitigation strategies
  • Identifying security vulnerabilities and eliminating them with strategic solutions

2-Website and Software Development

  • Designing, developing and testing software and applications for computers of the departments/ Institutions of district Malir. The main duties and responsibilities include directing and participating in programming activities, monitoring, and evaluating system performance, and designing and implementing new programs and features.
  • The development of website of district and educational institutions, that includes the updation and expansion of other departments working in the district.
  • Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs
  • Testing and evaluating new programs, while identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications

3-Install and Construct Networks

  • Directly working with district and its department’s servers and networks, performing setup, enhancement, and maintenance tasks.
  • The IT specialist will ensure that employees’ work stations care successfully connect to networks and have access to data at all times.
  • Also configuration of network security settings and connect peripheral devices, like printers, photocopier and scanners, that are used by multiple users.

4-Manage Databases

4.1 Building a Database Architecture so that data is correctly punched, stored and easily accessible. This would involve setting up data storage and retrieval protocols, adjusting permissions, and maintaining data security and integrity during migrations, backups, and day-to-day use of the database. The Coordinator IT has to use its expertise in database programs and languages to support all departments-wide database access.

5-Provide User Support

  • Providing direct support to users across the district. This can include helping set up hardware or software, diagnosing connectivity or data access problems, answering questions about hardware or software, and helping users access shared drives and devices.
  • The Coordinator IT may also provide support to help desk personnel and technicians.

6-Manage Information Security

  • Maintaining information security throughout the district including all departments. The accomplishment of this goal can be in many ways that includes monitoring access logs and building database security procedures.
  • The setup of antivirus programs at workstations, develop policies for email security, and perform periodic data audits and backups to prevent information loss and unauthorized access would be the key responsibility of the Coordinator –IT
  • 7-Troubleshoot Systems and Hardware
  • The provision of support to all district departments at district and taluka level by troubleshooting systems and hardware, particularly after server migration or an organization-wide update. T
  • To identify issues with new hardware or software and works with users or on the back end of servers to quickly resolve those issues and prevent delays.
  • The IT specialist may also prepare reports on hardware and software issues as part of this role.

8-Problem solving: 

8.1 Websites and Software need to be functional as well as attractive, and clients’ needs in these regards might not always be easy to meet. Web developers need to figure out how to translate a client’s vision to an actual, functional website.

Description:

  1. The Coordinator Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is responsible for defining and developing the strategies, which underpin a company’s CSR objectives.
  2. Developing and altering social responsibility policies to be presented to the Government of Sindh.
  3. The Coordinator CSR has to conduct research, come up with ideas, develop policies, create detailed plans, build relationships with companies, and then provide facilitation in the projects implementation process.
  4. Coordinate a range of activities and initiatives, which are designed to have a positive impact on the environment and local communities.
  5. Acting as the focal point for the DC Office, District Malir on CSR component of the companies in the district and building/bridging relationships in between companies, community partners and with other key stakeholders
  6. Gather data of CSR funds/budget of all companies working in the district Malir.
  7. Meeting with CSR Team Leads of the companies, attend activities carrying out under CSR component of the companies.
  8. To Look after and monitor the CSR programs running by companies in the district as well as to conduct periodic programs reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness of these programs.
  9. Driving CSR budget of the companies & monitoring spend to deliver results in line with planned objectives.
  10. The Coordinator has to provide support, strengthen coordination and facilitate campaigns, programs, activities and project commitments that aligned with the corporate sector.
  11. Identify and coordinate with Local Philanthropists, Charitable individuals, organizations for the development initiatives.
  12. Coordinate philanthropic campaigns and serve as a liaison between the companies and District Government of District Malir (Deputy Commissioner, District Malir).
  13. Consolidate and preparing reports on social responsibility activities carrying out by the companies across the district.
  14. An evidence based record keeping of videos, photographs, reports of the CSR utilization funds programs /activities carrying out by the companies.
  15. Through the office of the Deputy Commissioner, District Malir, influencing companies for the proper use of CSR funds for the development of the local community.
  16. Reaching out to the public via PR and marketing to disseminate and deliver the message of the company’s commitment to Social Responsibility.
  17. Any other duties as assigned by the Project Director

Descriptions:

  • Leading engagement with field groups, local support organizations and other parental Involvement committees/stakeholders in the district Malir
  • Developing training materials/manual relevant to community mobilization and parental involvement
  • Liaison with field based groups, government official’s /line departments and with other stakeholders
  • Assist the project in identifying key counterparts, stakeholders, contributors and private-sector partners who will be instrumental in the implementation and achievement of goals of the project
  • Highlighting, capturing and developing best practices as success story reports during the project cycles
  • Organize and pay visits in field activities (as needed)
  • Working collaboratively with local partner /supportive organizations to build their capacity

  • Strengthening community institutions and other stakeholders to ensure their effective role in the community development initiatives
    Supervise and monitor the community development programs /projects running in the district
    • Developing proposals to collaborate with existing programs and local initiatives running in the district
    • Organize capacity-building sessions/trainings for local NGOs/CBOs and other community based organizations on social mobilization.
  • Ensure meaningful participation of women and inclusion of other vulnerable groups is articulated across all activities including community institutions, implementing a gender framework and ensuring disaggregation of data reported at all levels
  • Making periodic reports of the project and submission of the same timely, making presentations to be presented at different forums/offices.
