World Bank Delegation Visits Marvi Centre to Enhance Healthcare Access:

A high-level delegation from the World Bank, including Ms. Hnin Hnin Pyne, Mr. Manav Bhattarai, Ms. Supriya Madhavan, and Mr. Murtaza Noonari, visited the Marvi Centre in Sujawal to assess and strengthen primary healthcare services.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Qamar Shaikh, Chief of Health and Research, and Dr. Kehkashan from the Head Office. They explored the centre’s comprehensive healthcare facilities, community mobilization initiatives, and partnerships with healthcare providers.

Discussions revolved around empowering Lady Health Visitors (LHVs) and leveraging digital health solutions to enhance healthcare delivery in non-LHW-covered areas.

This visit marks a significant milestone in expanding healthcare accessibility and strengthening community-based health programs in the region.
