HANDS team conducted a very productive meeting with Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi (Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, govt of Sindh along with Mr. Ashique Hussain Khoso (Senior Director -PPP NODE Education), Dr. Shaikh Tanveer Ahmed (Chief Executive HANDS) Mr. Nisar Bambhan (Director Planning, SEF), Mr. Qalander Bux Behrani, (Head of Education Department, HANDS), Ms. Huma Imran Khan, P.D EMO Schools Projects HANDS), Ms. Salma, (Staff officer to Secretary SB and Mr. Abdul Samad Sheikh (Staff officer to Secretary SB). HANDS Team presented an overview of their work across various sectors such as Health, WASH, Livelihood and Women Empowerment, followed by progress sharing of their educational projects and EMO Schools intervention in different districts of Sindh. Mr. Abbasi and his team expressed strong appreciation for HANDS impactful interventions and showed enthusiasm for potential collaboration on upcoming education projects aimed at enhancing educational equality in Sindh.
