HANDS Pakistan’s Disaster Management department, supported by the Communication Resource Department, participated in the first-ever Pakistan Expo on Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR) from 16th to 18th August at the Pak China Friendship Center in Islamabad. This significant event was jointly organized by the National Disaster Management Authority Pakistan (NDMA) and National Disaster Risk Management Fund. It attracted a large number of stakeholders, including ministers, bureaucrats, senators, and representatives from various NGOs, INGOs, and UN agencies across the country.

We are proud to have showcased HANDS Pakistan’s integrated development models, as well as our strategies for relief, recovery, and rehabilitation after disasters, at this important expo. This event was a vital opportunity to contribute to and learn from other professionals committed to building a safer and more resilient Pakistan.
