The session focused on “Marine Pollution Mitigation & Sustainable Circular Economy”, aligning with the upcoming World Environment Day (June 5) and its theme: #BeatPlasticPollution.
With over 400 participants, the session was more than just an awareness event—it was a call to action. Attendees were encouraged to turn awareness into meaningful action by reducing plastic use as part of their civic responsibility and commitment to environmental sustainability. They will now carry this vital message back to the communities where they work on various development initiatives, spreading knowledge and inspiring collective action to combat plastic pollution.
