Position:                     Dispenser

Qualification:             Graduate, Dispenser course

Experience:                1-2 years in related field

 Description:

  • Endorse all prescription forms as appropriate to collate and forward the forms for processing.
  • The Label and dispense prescriptions to patients in accordance with the correct operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Issue prepared prescriptions to patients.
  • Ensure all dispensary equipment is kept clean and in good working order. All work surfaces are cleaned and tidied on a regular basis. Maintain an accurate detailed record of all dispensing transactions.
  • Promptly forward all slips and dispensary related correspondence to the practice Manager.
  • Ensure that refrigerated items are stored at the appropriate temperature and maintain the temperature control record/logbook.
  • Ensure the drugs are received and stored in an appropriate manner in accordance with the manufactures instructions.
  • Collect prescription charges.
  • Ensure that all medicines and appliances dispensed are checked against the prescription and whenever there is doubt about the appropriateness of the item, or about the dose or labelling instructions to check with the authorizing doctor or duty doctor.
  • Operate efficient stock control appropriate to the needs of the dispensary with the objective of ensuring continuity of supply for patients and minimizing wastage.
  • Undertake other reasonable duties within the framework of the post as directed DPM and DEM.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualification:             Diploma in Lab Technician

Experience:                1-2 years in related field

Description:

  • Performs routine tests and some specialized tests as ordered by medical professionals.
  • Maintains quality control of specimen samples.
  • Operates standard laboratory equipment and some specialized equipment.
  • Reviews and processes orders for laboratory procedures for patients.
  • Maintain infection precautions measures.
  • Records testing information and files laboratory reports.
  • Inventories and orders laboratory and office supplies.
  • Communicates patient and laboratory information.
  • Cleans and restocks laboratory facility.
  • Maintains a safe environment in the laboratory.
  • Supervises student or temporary employees during a minor portion of the employee’s work time.
  • Assists in writing descriptions of routines necessary to perform tests.
  • Work as per the organizational rules and regulations and ethical policies.
  • Communicate relevant information as per requirements with other departments.

 Description:

  • Responsible to keep and maintain records of operation related matters in HANDS DO.
  • Operation Associate is responsible to coordinate with HANDS Head office regarding stationary and other office supplies.
  • To look after Staff requests regarding vehicles and office supplies.
  • Support DO staff in carrying out different office tasks.
  • Support in all organizational activities; program reviews, mega events etc.
  • Complete all assigned tasks within the given time period.
  • Monitor and supervise activities related with office cleanliness and security.
  • Submit monthly, quarterly and annually reports of respective assignments to DEM.
  • Supervise and control Operation support staff in DO.
  • Provide logistic and administrative support to DO project/program team.
  • Ensure logistic and administrative support in all training programs in the respective DO

Experience:                3-5 years in related field

 

Description: 

  • Coordinates and provides direction for a comprehensive medical service to the community of respective district and surrounding communities and or in the respective HANDS Health Facility Center.
  • Advises the District Manager and Senior Management Team on operational management and strategic direction for the health service.
  • Performs screening assessment, treatment and referral of patients in accordance with HANDS Health Service policies and Procedures.
  • Provides general medical care commensurate with level of skill and experience.
  • Performs general outpatient and accident and emergency services at HANDS District Office/Hospital.
  • Shares medical on-call with District Medical Officers for inpatients, accidents and emergencies, including nights and weekends.
  • Provides a visiting medical service to the remote communities in the respective district.
  • Participates in the collection of essential data.
  • Coordinates referrals to visiting medical specialists.
  • Supports Nursing staff in delivery of health care.
  • Works in compliance with HANDS rules and regulations.
  • Participates in the District Medical Advisory Committee and Senior Management meetings.
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management of the medical service.
  • Responsible for the monitoring, reviewing and evaluating the quality and timeliness of clinical services.
